(Photo by Chinnawat Singha)PHITSANULOK - A group of residents in Wang Thong district has accused the manager of a Government Savings Bank branch of cheating them of over 40 million baht. They alleged they and other people had been cheated of several million baht by Mongkhol Hunpikulthong, manager of the state-run GSB’s Wang Thong branch. Most of them had repaid their share of their loans, but Mr Mongkhol had not paid back the money he received from them. Mr Thongsuk said more than 100 residents had been taken in by Mr Mongkhol, who took more than 40 million baht from them. Another group of people from the same area earlier lodged a separate complaint against Mr Mongkhol.
